Sensory-Friendly Swimming Pilot Program at the Indoor Pool of the JCCGB

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Boston is launching a one-year pilot of a sensory-friendly swimming program. Each Saturday the JCC’s indoor pool will be open for free for one hour to members and nonmembers who wish to swim in a quieter, less brightly lit, supported environment. Sensory bags will be made available that include noise-canceling headphones and a water-resistant communication card. Private changing rooms and quiet spaces for breaks will be available.
