Grants

Greater Boston Disability Task Force

For the last several years, the Foundation has made annual grants to Massachusetts Advocates for Children (MAC) to provide administrative support to the Greater Boston Disability Task Force (DTF).  DTF is a professional network that provides opportunities for disability funders, service providers, and advocates to meet three or four times a year to discuss cutting edge developments in the local disability community. DTF was founded about ten years ago by a coalition of disability funders and nonprofits. A Foundation representative currently serves on the DTF steering committee. For the last two years, meetings have been conducted virtually to brief members on how the pandemic is impacting the local disability community and advocacy efforts that are underway. MAC manages in-person and online meeting logistics for these popular events.
