All Lost to Prayers: A Family’s Struggle with Autism

The NLM Family Foundation provided support for the production of All Lost to Prayers , a two-act opera/musical theater piece which addressed the weight of autism on a family. Although the piece only loosely follows Shakespeare’s plot for The Tempest, the idea of an island inhabited by isolated and alienated individuals was at the heart of both works. There were four performances of All Lost to Prayers between April 20 – April 23, 2006 at the Boston Conservatory.
